In the early part of 1700, in the shadow of the mountain Suphan in central Turkey, a tortured man sought his revenge. No, not a man any longer; the duke had made sure of that. But things didn't go as well as the duke had imagined, as one of his priests modified the ritual at the last moment and gave Arak a powerful weapon, free will.

This novel was fun to write and research the time, place, and era. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing and researching.
